44th Global Forum, Wharton’s largest event, to focus on cultivating, motivating talent

Wharton Dean Tom Robertson, premier Wharton faculty, hundreds of business leaders and Wharton alumni to attend

Philadelphia, PA –The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania will hold its 44th Wharton Global Forum in Paris on October 10 – 11, 2013 on the theme of “Talent.” At the Forum, Wharton faculty, alumni and business leaders from France and around the globe will encounter multiple opportunities to examine topics such as negotiation strategies, dynamic environments for talent, optimal leadership structures, and creativity in the workplace.

“We are very pleased to gather in Paris again and address this vital global business topic,” said Wharton School Dean Thomas S. Robertson. “Throughout the history of Wharton’s Global Forums, these exchanges have served as a catalyst for innovation, allowing best practices to be shared on an international scale and inspiring leaders around the globe.”

“The Wharton School stands at the forefront of talent development through its renowned undergraduate, MBA and doctoral programs, Executive Education offerings and Lifelong Learning programs,” said Antoine Dréan, WG ’92, Founder and Chairman of Triago, and Chairman of the Global Forum Paris Organizing Committee.

“Some of Wharton’s leading faculty members are investigating issues related to this area – such as the skills gap, the employer-employee divide, executive development, and many other pertinent topics – and we are pleased to have them here in Paris to share that knowledge, added Nicolas Topiol, WG’91, Chief Executive Officer of Christian Lacroix SNC  and Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

La 44ème édition du Global Forum, le plus grand événement de Wharton, se focalisera sur la promotion et la cultivation du talent.

Le doyen de Wharton, Tom Robertson, ainsi que des centaines de dirigeants d’entreprise et anciens élèves de l’Université seront présents.

Philadelphie, PA, 5 septembre 2013 – La Wharton School de l’Université de Pennsylvanie organisera sa 44ème édition du Wharton Global Forum les 10 et 11 octobre 2013 qui se concentrera sur le thème du « talent ».  Lors du Forum, des professeurs de la faculté, des anciens élèves et des dirigeants d’entreprise français et internationaux vont étudier des sujets tels que les stratégies de négociation, la création d’une culture de l’innovation, le partage de la chaîne de commandement et la créativité dans le travail.
